SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for general cleaning and orderliness of the site. May be responsible for coordinating vending machine service and service/repairs of other equipment.
Performs general maintenance work. If significant electrical or plumbing work is performed, applicable license would be required. May provide direction or assistance to Custodians.
Works in accordance with general safety principles.
BASIC POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education (if beyond High School or equivalent):
Experience Target (in this job or a related function/field): Prior facilities maintenance experience preferred.
Skills: (identify essential skills required, and identify additional skills that enable success in performing this job)
General maintenance and repair skills.
Knowledge/Abilities: (describe type and level of knowledge or ability needed to perform essential job functions and those that enable success in performing this job)
Ability to handle multiple tasks within time constraints. Ability and willingness to perform physical activities, including but not limited to lifting (60-80 pounds) and climbing ladders.
Special Certifications (if appropriate–identify if required to perform the job or just preferred):
If performing more complex maintenance work at a site (plumbing, electrical, etc.), applicable license is required.
