What we are looking for:
To be successful in this role you must…
Accounting graduate. Preferably a CPA
A minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in Taxation
Can work with limited supervision
Excellent business and analytic skills
Reasonable communication skills (oral and written)
Able to work on tight deadlines and solving problems
Experience in handling PEZA and BIR audits
Experience in Big 4 firms, preferably
Strong background is required especially on the following items such as but not limited to:
PEZA matters:
- Preparation of requirements for PEZA registration of new and expansion projects
- Secure Start of Commercial Operations (SCO) approval
- Income Tax Holiday (ITH) validation
- Application for ITH extension
- EZMPR, Quarterly and Annual reports
- TIMTA (Annual Tax Incentives Report)
- Farm-in, Farm-out
- Securing Letters of Authority for local sales, tax and duty-free importations, equipment transfers and disposals, donations, etc. and the entire process related thereto
BIR matters:
- Monthly, quarterly and annual filing, reports and payments for WHT Expanded, WHT –Compensation, VAT, Final Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax including Alpha list submissions
- Annual Corporate Income Tax Return (Form 1702)
- BIR Registration for new sites, transfer of RDO
- Application for VAT refund
- Submission of reports / schedules related to BIR audits
- All other tax filings, as necessary
LGU matters:
- Securing business permits for new sites and annual renewals
- All other permits
SEC and BOI matters:
- Submission of reports/documents (ie AFS, GIS) with SEC and BOI
- All other reports
US tax compliance:
- Securing business licenses from different cities or counties in the US for new locations and annual renewals
- All other permits/licenses
