The Part-Time Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant will be responsible for handling all aspects of accounts receivable, including issuing invoices, tracking payments, and managing relationships with major US retailers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, and SPS, and be adept at setting up AR processes for new retailers. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a keen attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Invoice Management: Issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner to major US retailers such as Ulta, Nordstrom, TJX, Neiman Marcus, and others.
- Payment Tracking: Monitor and track payments from clients, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of funds.
- Follow-Up & Escalation: Follow up on outstanding invoices and payments, escalating issues as needed to ensure resolution.
- AR Process Setup: Develop and implement accounts receivable processes for new retail partnerships, ensuring smooth integration and efficient operations.
- Documentation & Organization: Maintain organized and accurate records of all AR activities, documenting work meticulously to ensure transparency and accuracy.
- Independent Operation: Operate independently, troubleshoot issues, and devise solutions with minimal supervision.
Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable, particularly with brands that work with major US retailers (e.g., Ulta, Nordstrom, TJX, Neiman Marcus).
- Extensive familiarity with QuickBooks, NetSuite, and SPS is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, solve problems, and figure out solutions without extensive supervision.
- Exceptional documentation skills with a focus on maintaining accurate and organized records.
