Role accountabilities: 


Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:



  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Commercial Intelligence Team, ensuring that they have the resources they need to perform their jobs efficiently and effectively, and resolving any conflicts that may arise.

  • Develop and implement research strategies that align with the company’s objectives and goals.

  • Drive projects and tasks to completion through effective prioritization, work planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Collaborate with other teams, stakeholders, including in-country, GBAs, and other Growth groups such as Global Accounts Management and Global Strategy & Development, and senior leaders within the organization to identify business needs and priorities and ensure that the Commercial Intelligence team's work is aligned with these needs.

  • Delegate tasks to team members, making sure that each member is given appropriate responsibilities based on their skills and experience.

  • Continuously improve the team's processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure that the team can provide the organization with high-quality, impactful data insights.

  • Maintain team members' adherence to the company's rules and regulations and ensure that any management changes are implemented.

  • Collaborate with other Commercial Enablement Team Leaders from different functions in Manila to ensure alignment of Global Shared Services Center (GSSC) policy implementation and business support. Team up to effectively strategize and plan to achieve goals as a group.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement among the research team.

  • Set goals, evaluate performance, and identify areas for improvement while monitoring the team's performance using established Key Performance Indicators such as utilization, timeliness, quality assurance, and client satisfaction.

  • Motivate and inspire team members to achieve their goals by providing positive feedback and recognition as needed.

  • Facilitate talent acquisition searches to ensure the team's quality and consistent growth.

  • Efficient induction and onboarding processes that collaborate with other enabling functions such as HR and IT to ensure a seamless transition.

  • Identify and develop team members' skills and capabilities through training and coaching to help them reach their full potential and in accordance with business needs.

  • Organize weekly team meetings to keep the team up to date on Global Shared Services (GSSC) and other business updates.

  • Conduct regular catch-ups, professional development reviews (PDR), and quarterly grow-perform-succeed (GPS) touchpoint discussions with team members to set performance expectations, identify challenges, provide feedback, and foster better relationships.

  • Perform additional administrative tasks as required


Qualifications & Experience: 



  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Marketing Management, Research, Statistics, and Business Management.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience leading a team of at least 10 members is required.

  • At least 5 years of research experience is required.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, ideally in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of performance metrics

  • Experience in project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, and have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information

  • A blend of analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and reporting acumen

  • Ability to identify problems and develop solutions to resolve them

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and to work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and engage team members, set goals and priorities, and provide feedback and coaching.

  • Ability to manage time effectively in order to meet deadlines and ensure that team members are able to meet their goals

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with team membes and stakeholders.

  • Have the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and be willing to adjust the approach as needed to ensure the team’s success.

  • Ability to make decisions quickly and confidently, taking into account the needs of the team and the organization as a whole

  • Ability to develop, mentor, and inspire direct reports
