Account Director Job Summary
Job Description:
The Account Director oversees a client account or group of accounts inside the agency, while guaranteeing profitability, sustainability, and growth. He/ she assumes responsibility for creating excellent creative work that meets the client's demands, solves their business problems, and, most significantly, aligns with RedbinPH's goals of pursuing "quantified creativity." He/she will accomplish this by effectively managing his/her own team while also motivating and leading others both within and outside of Redbin. He/she is frequently involved in new business pitches, approaching them with both a business and creative mindset.
In the advertising industry, an account director will be working with:
- Internal: Agency management/leadership team; Agency account team, including planners/strategists; Creative teams and directors; Creative services and production staff; New business team; Human resources; Finance/ accounts.
- External: Client marketing team, including Marketing Director; Client procurement personnel; Other agencies in their client's roster e.g. Media, Public Relations; Regulatory bodies; 3rd party suppliers; New business opportunity contacts.
- Account Directors will report to the senior management team of the agency, usually the Managing Director. They will also report to the Finance Director on account profitability. They will manage staff within their team, being accountable for their performance and providing them with professional development opportunities.

Should be able to
- Oversee client servicing and management, holding the primary responsibility for the client-agency relationship.
- Gain a thorough insight into the marketplace and the client's business or brand, encompassing different media and distribution channels.
- Actively involve clients in enhancing current services, boosting profitability, and fostering enduring business relationships.
- Engage in discussions regarding contracts and fees with marketing directors and client procurement staff.
- Guarantee the quality of projects; efficiently handle and analyze client feedback; mentor Account Managers (AMs) and Account Executives (AEs) in executing projects seamlessly and efficiently.
- Oversee the tasks, performance, and growth of team members, ensuring they remain inspired to reach their fullest potential.
- Collaborate with the Business Unit Director to forecast future personnel needs for the account team and address any current challenges.
- Collaborate with planners to create communications briefs that address business needs in an efficient and effective manner, working alongside media planners and strategists from partner agencies and suppliers to ensure the delivery of integrated work.
- Assist the accounts planner in crafting compelling creative briefs that guide towards the development of creative work, while also effectively presenting and promoting these ideas to clients.
- Assume responsibility for the quality of creative outputs and foster motivation within the creative team while collaborating with the Creative Director on working processes.
- Guarantee the success and expansion of client accounts.
- Recognize, cultivate, and transform new business prospects with current and prospective agency clients.
- Guide and motivate individuals beyond the core team, including creative teams and other supplier-partners engaged in the same account, project, or brief.

- Provide essential financial and team information to the senior leadership, finance, and human resources departments at Redbin.
- Comprehend the trends within the industry and market, along with the essential success factors that are vital for the organization's enduring sustainability and competitive edge.
Requirements
- 6+ years of team-leading and/or comparable expertise with a strong BTL background
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Has the ability to communicate effectively with high-level executives and clients.
- Detail-oriented, organized; proactive and enthusiastic with the ability to juggle several activities and fulfill deadlines; quick learner.
- β’ Knowledge of operational software
Anticipated to work regular office hours, with some 'out of hours' shifts during peak times. Must be present at work in person every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Redbin maintains the authority to extend the return-to-office work if necessary.
