Accounting and Cost Analyst in Makati

Workdays: Monday to Saturday (6 days per week)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Salary Basis: Daily rate
Salary Budget: ₱1000/day

Accounting and Cost Analyst to provide accounting, financial and cost analysis to support decision-making, budgeting, and reporting. The role focuses on product costing, gross margins, inventory, and variance analysis across departments.

You will prepare management reports, review journal entries, perform reconciliations, and assist in cost of sales analysis. Collaboration with Finance, Purchasing, Operations, and Sales is essential to ensure accurate data

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field.
-2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, cost accounting, financial analysis, or a related role.
-Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis functions.
-Knowledge of product costing, inventory accounting, COGS, and gross margin analysis.

Responsibilities:
-Record and review accounting transactions in the accounting system/QuickBooks Online.
-Prepare and review journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, reclassifications, and other adjusting entries.
-Perform reconciliations of accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and other balance sheet accounts.
-Prepare schedules and supporting analyses for the monthly closing process.
-Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
-Support accounting and finance projects, system improvements, and other special assignments.
