Unicorn Role Overview:

Are you a sports enthusiast with strong organizational skills? We're seeking a Part-Time Sports Administrative Assistant to join our team and support our sports organization's operations. This role is perfect for someone who understands the sports world and excels in administrative tasks. You’ll be responsible for managing schedules, handling customer inquiries, and assisting with team store operations. What You’ll Do:

  • Scheduling: Use League Apps to efficiently schedule practices and games, ensuring smooth coordination between teams and venues.
  • Customer Support: Manage email inquiries and provide excellent customer support, handling questions from players, coaches, and parents professionally.
  • Team Store Operations: Assist with uniform orders and manage the team store, ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle various administrative tasks related to sports team management, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication between players, coaches, and parents to ensure everyone is informed and up-to-date.
  • Additional Support: Provide support for other administrative needs as they arise within the sports organization.

Requirements
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software and Google Suite (GSuite).
  • Experience in League App or similar sports apps.
  • Experience with Constant Contact is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with sports team operations and terminology is highly valued.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing schedules common in the sports environment.
  • Attention to detail, especially in managing uniform orders and team store operations.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges and last-minute adjustments.

Time Commitment: Part-Time (20hrs/week) US timezone.
