As the API Specialist Team Lead you will be at the forefront of our customer project initiatives, dedicating 80% of your time to leading and executing critical API projects, guiding developers on best practices, and ensuring our customers are successful in custom projects. Your expertise will drive the scoping, analysis, design, and execution of these projects, ensuring they align with our strategic goals and deliver exceptional value to our customers. In addition to your project responsibilities, you will spend 20% of your time fostering the growth and development of our API Specialists. Through coaching and mentorship, you will enhance their technical skills, encourage their professional development, and cultivate a culture of excellence and innovation within the team.
This is a full-time role, on a US shift and on a Work in the office set-up.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and manage customer API projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Serve as a subject matter expert in API design and integration, providing guidance and solutions to complex technical challenges.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, product, integrations, and support, to deliver seamless project execution.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, training materials, and workshops for both internal and customer audiences.
Coach and mentor API Specialists, promoting continuous learning and skill enhancement.
Contribute to the development and refinement of our API platform, advocating for features and improvements that will benefit our customers and developer community.
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ Proven experience in API project management and execution.
2+ years with a track record of successful team development and mentorship and exceptional leadership skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Deep understanding of API technologies and best practices.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Passion for customer success and delivering high-quality solutions.
Proficiency in SQL and SQL Report Builder, with extensive experience in creating reports that inform strategic business decisions.
Demonstrated project management skills, with a history of successfully leading projects and teams.
