Business Analyst – Cash and Bank Management

iRely is looking for a Business Analyst to join their Product Development Team to work on the Cash and Bank Management Module of their Software Product. Cash Management Module integrates with all General Finance modules allowing you to track your cash flows within a single system.


This role is integral to the ongoing success and retention of our customers, and the competitiveness of our software products. The Business Analyst has the potential to grow into a full Product Manager.


 


Responsibilities and Duties



  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements, translating them into technical specifications.

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of technical systems, software applications, and databases to identify integration opportunities and ensure compatibility with business requirements.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in technology, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage new tools and techniques for improved business processes.

  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams, ensuring effective collaboration and understanding of project goals and deliverables.

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and test plans.

  • Analyze existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions that align with business goals and objectives.

  • Work closely with development teams to provide guidance and clarification on business requirements, ensuring that the delivered solutions meet the desired outcomes.

  • Perform system testing, validate the functionality of developed solutions, and assist in user acceptance testing to ensure successful implementation and user satisfaction.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery and successful project outcomes.

  • Able to provide training for new member onboarding and when new features are delivered.

  • Analyze root cause issue and implement corrective actions to reduce future issues.


 


Qualifications



  • Experience in Business Analysis

  • Conduct business process reviews with customers

  • Documenting business requirements, preparing statement of work and design solutions for the product

  • Breaking down business requirements to user stories

  • Product Demonstrations and training to customers

  • Good Communication Skills

  • Experience working with a Cash Management Module including Bank Reconciliation

  • Experience in ACH, prenote or details of other transfer modes is required.

  • Processing Checks, eChecks, Wire transfers, Credit cards

  • Bank Transactions, Deposits, and Transfers

  • Knowledge in Financial Accounting is a plus.

  • Experience in Team and Product Management is a plus.

  • Experience in MS SQL and Jira is nice to have.

  • High Ownership Attitude

  • Experience in working in a software development company is a plus
