Business Support Assistant – Claims
Key Tasks & Deliverables
1. Timely and proper processing or preparation of claims, according to valid procedures and instructions, including:
a. checking and uploading available documentation related to claims.
b. taking initial decisions to approve or reject claims (where possible). Taking financial decisions connected with settlements in a limited scope.
c. obtaining all required documentation from customers, subcontractors, and local offices
d. providing customers with information according to the process needs
e. updating and archiving data in the claims system, as well as creating reports according to supervisor’s requests.
2. Acquire knowledge, through:
a. self-development, getting acquainted with the training materials, procedures as well as other documents required to handle claims.
b. participation in trainings within the Claims Handler Academy.
3. In the scope of 0-5% of work time fulfil additional tasks in the field of:
a. supporting supervisor in team management and/or process management
b. proposing process improvements.
4. Compliance with internal regulations, procedures, law, and managers orders, including labor regulations, regulations on remuneration and other internal regulations in the company, including company’s intellectual property protection.
5. Behaviors and attitudes consistent with the values.
6. Professional skills development by participation in training and constant self-education.
