We're looking for a Part-Time CPA Specialist who can work remotely for a psychiatric and mental health services company in California.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Accounting:
  • Journal entries
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly, and annual financial reports, including cash flow, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
  • Prepare budget forecasts.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly financial reports.
  • Monitor bookkeeping activities regularly.
  • Create Financial Reports.
  • Prepare and Analyze the financial revenue and expenses.
  • Forecasts revenue and analyze profit margins.
  • Assist with end-of-month processing & financial-year reporting.
  • Issuing tax forms and related documentation and assisting employees to complete them.
  • Deducting tax and insurance payments.
  • Other related work.

Payroll:
  • Review payroll and prepare payroll reporting periodically.
  • Checking the number of hours employees have worked.
  • Calculating wages and salaries.
  • Issuing employees’ wages by cash, cheque, or electronic transfer.r
  • Resolving issues employees have with timesheets, payslips, and other payroll matters.
  • Monitor & manage employee benefits.
  • Other related work.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
Must be CPA
Must have an active PH CPA license
A minimum of 3 years experience as a US Bookkeeper or similar.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
In-depth understanding of human resources and labor rules and regulations.
Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.
Working knowledge of payroll software.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
