About the Role
We are looking for highly skilled and motivated HVAC Digital Solutions Engineers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience in HVAC analytics, building digital twin models, and utilizing data-driven tools to ensure optimal building performance. This role is fully remote and requires technical expertise in building automation systems (BAS), data networking, and HVAC fault detection and diagnostics.
You will play a vital role in ensuring that clients and partners receive high-quality fault detection and diagnostic support while contributing to the continuous improvement of building performance analytics.
Responsibilities:
● Configure HVAC analytics and build digital twin models of HVAC equipment.
● Deliver and support clients and partners with top-quality fault detection and diagnostics products.
● Collaborate with teams to complete onboarding projects, define timelines, and achieve milestones efficiently.
● Conduct onboarding activities such as data discovery, installation of Data Collection Services, and system organization.
● Troubleshoot diagnostics and validate automated fault detection results.
● Provide technical training and customer support for Data Transfer Service, data connectivity, and related networking issues.
● Ensure ongoing support and monitoring of connected sites using Clockworks analytics.
● Coordinate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting, data accuracy, and client engagement.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field; or 5–6 years of relevant industry experience.
● At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC, controls, or fault detection and diagnostics.
● Experience configuring HVAC analytics and digital twin models is required.
● Familiarity with BAS protocols such as BACnet, Haystack, oBIX, and Modbus.
● Knowledge of BAS networking principles and basic IT/networking fundamentals (firewall, server, and basic commands).
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
● Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation tools.
Preferred Experience:
● Exposure to automated ongoing commissioning, performance measurement, and verification systems.
● Familiarity with metadata standards (e.g., Project Haystack).
● Certifications in basic networking or computer fundamentals are an advantage.
