The Opportunity

As an Transport and Distribution Operation, you will:

  • Customer Liaison: Communicate with customers via phone, email, and face-to-face regarding transport and brokerage services, including collections and deliveries.
  • Booking and Operations: Handle bookings with carriers, manage daily operational inquiries, and resolve discrepancies under supervision.
  • Shipment Coordination: Arrange and plan shipments, including consolidation/deconsolidation, documentation support, and data entry. Ensure efficient shipment handling by liaising with internal and external parties.
  • Status Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor shipment status, prepare reports for customers, and update systems accordingly.
  • Cost Management: Handle local charge quotations, validate and post incoming cost billings, and prepare profit and loss summaries with destination offices and agents.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all procedures comply with government regulations and company policies, including preparing and releasing delivery orders and arrival notices.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Commercial Awareness: Essential for the role.
  • Skills and Attributes: Results-oriented, resilient, analytical, and highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Communication: Effective at all levels, both internally and with clients.
  • Location Requirement: Must be willing to work in ASEANA, Paranaque City.
  • Technical/Professional Skills: Experience or interest in multi-modal air/sea import/export, client-focused service ethic, ability to handle difficult customers, and consistently meet deadlines
