EY-ServiceNow – Staff_QA
As part of our EY GDS-ServiceNow team, you will work to solve client problems using ServiceNow platform. You will get an opportunity to work with high quality team. You will get an opportunity to build innovating product which solves client’s problem.
The opportunity
We are looking for QA tester to be responsible for designing and implementing test plans to improve the usability of our products. The QA tester works with the development team to debug code, correct errors, and troubleshoot any issues with software code.
A successful QA tester should be hard-working, have a strong working knowledge of software code and testing methodologies, and be a team player.
Your key responsibilities
• Work with system analyst to analyze product requirements and identify acceptance criteria, testing cases and test scenarios
• Test software to ensure that the developed products meet the requirement specifications and are within quality criteria and standards
• Provide feedback regarding testing and process optimizations.
• Work closely with multiple development teams to ensure quality testing practices are incorporated across the development cycle
• Write test documentation such as test cases, scenarios, create test data and identify defects within the software products
• Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team members
• Execute automated and manual test cases and provide testing results and documentation
• Provide individual status reports to the test lead and manager in the required frequency.
Skills and attributes for success
• QA tester should be hard-working
• Have a strong working knowledge of software code and testing methodologies
• Willing to be trained as ServiceNow QA
To qualify for the role, you must have
• College degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences
• Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in a development role. Able to exhibit a progression of increasingly complex job responsibilities during the period
• ServiceNow ATF knowledge is a plus
• ITIL foundations certification a plus
• A good working knowledge of test management software, programming languages, and QA methodologies.
• Good team working and critical thinking skills.
Ideally, you’ll also have
• Experience on SDLC or TFS or JIRA or equivalent tool to maintain stories.
