Job overview


The HR Assistant for Compensation & Benefits provides assistance in the administration and

implementation of C&B/ER day-to-day operations and activities. The HR Assistant- C&B carries

out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: HRIS, employee relations,

benefits administration (eg. business travel, medical insurance, uniforms, etc).


Responsibilities 


• Encodes and updates employee time-keeping and overtime, leave records.

• B. Secures and maintains confidentiality of data of all Human Resource records.

• C. Prepares monthly summary report on attendance, tardiness, and FTE and submits them to

       respective department heads

• Administers employee programs/activities i.e. sports, different committees, summer outing,

   community out-reach programs, various recreational activities, local & foreign training

•  Prepares and submits required reports.

•  Assists in HDMF orientation for newly hired employees and annual refresher course.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• College Degree in AB/BS Psychology or any related course. Has atleast1 year work experience in the same capacity or preferably from an airline and catering operations company.

Language Skills

• Above average skill in both verbal and written communication as well as good acumen in business and technical related writing


Mathematical Skills

• Ability to add, Subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fraction and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


Reasoning ability

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written and/or oral instructions ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Certificates, licenses, Registrations (as required)

• No specific licenses or accreditation is critical to the position. Employee with valid driver’s license is preferred.

 

 

 

Physical Demands

• The employee will be required to exert physical demands on regular basis: sitting, walking, viewing a computer monitor, typing, handwriting, answering the phone, talking and hearing. In good physical well-being, able to handle long distance walking and stair climbing activities.
