Managing the Portfolio of Success: What You’ll Account For

  • Lead Generation: Utilize various channels, including online research, industry databases, and targeted outreach, to identify potential clients who could benefit from our irrigation solutions.
  • Client Follow-up: Communicate with potential and existing clients through phone calls, emails, and other platforms to understand their needs, answer inquiries, and provide information about our products and services.
  • Email Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials to nurture leads and maintain communication with existing clients.
  • Open Bid Proposal Support: Assist the sales and technical teams in preparing and submitting open bid proposals, ensuring all necessary documentation and information are included.
  • Sales Support: Support the sales team by creating sales presentations, product demonstrations, and other materials to effectively showcase our irrigation systems to potential clients.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Manage and update customer information, interactions, and sales activities in the company’s CRM system to ensure accurate data and effective sales tracking.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our irrigation products and services to effectively address client inquiries, offer suitable solutions, and highlight the benefits of our offerings.
  • Sales Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, track progress against targets, and provide regular reports to the sales manager on key performance metrics.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging irrigation technologies to identify opportunities for product improvement and competitive advantage.

Requirements

The Right Assets: Skills That Add Value

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in inside sales or a related sales role, preferably within the irrigation industry or a similar technical field.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients professionally and present information persuasively.
  • Tech Savviness: Proficient in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office suite, and other sales and marketing tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Skilled at identifying client needs and providing tailored solutions, with the ability to effectively address challenges.
  • Team Player: Collaborative and cooperative with the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  • Initiative: Self-motivated and proactive in seeking out new leads and opportunities to drive sales growth.
  • Passion for Sustainability: Demonstrated interest in environmental sustainability and water conservation is a plus.
