Employment Type: Full-time 

Schedule: Day Shift; Mon - Fri; 7AM - 4PM

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 months training onsite); one day a week onsite after training

  • Actively respond to IT support requests, and document and track incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Manage users and systems onboarding, offboarding, access modifications, and other access control tasks.
  • Provide technical assistance and on-site deskside support, including resolving hardware and software issues and assisting with software installations and configurations for new starters.
  • Offer user support for various application systems, involving troubleshooting, resolving, and escalating issues.
  • Support office infrastructure, including boardroom/meeting room systems and audio/visual equipment.
  • Provide technical support to staff face-to-face, by phone, email, or via RMM tools.
  • Respond to alerts and incidents promptly, diagnosing, resolving, and escalating technical problems.
  • Regularly monitor IT systems to ensure smooth operations, analyze trends, and make recommendations for system upgrades or changes to meet future demands.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to address complex issues and implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within IT operations.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for incidents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an IT Support Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux desktop and server operating systems.
  • Proficiency in O365 Administration.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
  • Experience with IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, and networking devices.
  • Understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Proficiency in using monitoring and troubleshooting tools for system and network management.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), ITIL Foundation Certification) are a plus.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with end-users, colleagues, and management, as well as documenting processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and achieve common goals.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic IT environment.
