Looking for Java Developers to join our teams, working in the FinTech, Entertainment and e-Commerce industries. As a Java Developer, you will work with highly passionate, ambitious, and talented teams in the Philippines and Poland. You will be exposed to the latest trends and technologies used in many domain areas, including micro-services, machine learning, AI and cloud computing.
Key responsibilities:
- developing features according to provided requirements
- designing APIs
- participating in defining requirements
- integrating services with internal and third-party services
- communicating with customers to clarify requirements
- writing unit tests
- creating project documentation
- participating in code reviews
- refactoring code when appropriate
- bugfixing
- cooperating with project managers, developers, testers, and devopses
Key expectations:
- good knowledge of Java (minimum 8, we use the latest version)
- good knowledge of Spring framework (we use Spring Framework 5 and Spring Boot 2)
- good knowledge of SQL
- ability to design RESTful API
- decent knowledge of HTTP protocol
- ability to write clean, extensible and testable code
- familiarity with distributed systems architecture
- knowledge of Docker
- knowledge of design patterns
- experience with Git
- experience with Gradle or Maven
- good command of written and spoken English (min. B2+/C1 level)
- familiarity with Agile software development
Nice to have skills and competences:
- knowledge of Kotlin
- experience with AWS
- experience with Kubernetes
- experience with CI/CD tools
- experience with NoSQL Database
- experience with GraphQL
- experience with Message Brokers
