We are seeking a dedicated
and skilled Line Cook to join our Kitchen Operations team. The Line Cook will
work closely with the Kitchen Head and Senior Line cook to prepare and execute
dishes, maintain kitchen standards, and ensure that all food items are cooked
to perfection. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking and be
able to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prep
Work: Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, dicing, and marinating as
per the recipe requirements.
- Cooking:
Cook and assemble dishes according to the menu and specific customer
preferences, maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Kitchen
Equipment Handling: Operate various kitchen appliances such as grills,
ovens, fryers, and mixers, ensuring proper usage and safety.
- Quality
Control: Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency, making
adjustments as needed.
- Cleanliness
and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, adhering to all
health and safety regulations..
- Inventory
Management: Assist with inventory control, including receiving and storing
supplies, and monitoring recording of kitchen production
- Team
Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth
operation and a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Culinary degree or relevant
certification is a plus.
- Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of cooking experience, preferably in a cloud kitchen
or similar fast-paced setting.
- Proficient
in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Strong
attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability
to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge
of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Physical
Requirements: Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy
objects.
