Firm Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM CST, flexibility for remote work and weekly huddle
Reports to: Managing Attorney, Chrystan, and other team members as necessary

We are a boutique law firm offering legal services to small business owners, social entrepreneurs, and nonprofit founders. The firm operates primarily online and is dedicated to helping clients navigate legal matters with ease and efficiency. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Project Coordinator to support our team in providing exceptional client service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting, editing, and organizing legal documents, including contracts, tax-related filings, and corporate documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries as requested by attorneys or paralegals.
- Coordinate project timelines, ensuring that legal tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate client records in the firm's management system (e.g., Clio, Google Workspace).
- Facilitate communication across the team, including scheduling meetings and coordinating with part-time consultants and the legal team.
- Track deadlines and action items, following up on outstanding tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare reports and documentation for internal and client meetings.
- Manage the firmβs legal projects from initiation to closure, coordinating between different team members and external consultants.
- Assist with client onboarding, drafting engagement letters, and maintaining client files.
- Liaise with consultants such as tech developers, bookkeepers, and marketing teams to ensure smooth collaboration across projects.
Who You Will Work With:
Managing Attorney: Work closely with Chrystan on legal matters, including research, case file management, and document preparation.
Executive Sales Assistant: Collaborate with Ritch to ensure sales processes align with client needs.
Executive Marketing Assistant: Support Paula by coordinating marketing efforts with legal project management.
Legal Assistants and Paralegals: Coordinate with Megumi, Sakshi, Zoey, and Brandi to manage legal research, document preparation, and administrative tasks.
Part-Time Consultants: Work with external consultants, including a tech developer, patent attorney, and litigator, on specialized projects.
Requirements - Remote working capability: This is a fully remote role, requiring a self-driven and proactive attitude with excellent time management skills.
- Excellent command of English: Both written and verbal communication skills are essential to drafting and reviewing legal documents, corresponding with clients, and maintaining clear internal communication.
- Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with a keen eye for detail.
- Technologically adept: Proficient with Google Workspace, Clio, and other legal or project management tools.
- Proactive mindset: The ideal candidate should take the initiative and be comfortable working independently while being part of a remote team.
- Legal background preferred: Experience as a legal assistant, project coordinator, or in a similar role in a law firm or corporate legal department is desirable.
