Key Responsibilities

As a Manager Consumer Insights, you will be responsible for:

  • Actively connect with meaningful collaborators in the CC or RRP market to stay informed about business strategies, implementations, and difficulties. Foresee the business's information needs based on current and potential market situations. Guarantee that crucial information is shared promptly, understood clearly, and results in actionable measures taken by the business.
  • Successfully complete global pilots and multi-country projects. Represent the Filipino LAS/LAU in global/regional reports and ensure that projects led by global/regional teams are implemented following Philippine norms.
  • Apply existing data and tools to address business questions as much as possible, demonstrating a good level of familiarity with existing internal research.
  • Work with colleagues, customers, partners, and team members to develop research briefs that effectively address business questions and yield actionable consumer insights.
  • Apply global tools following PMI protocols, ensuring they align with local market realities. Collaborate with global teams to negotiate exemptions specific to the Philippine market and keep global tools updated. Familiarize yourself with and use the digital tools/dashboards that accompany global research tools.
  • Lead research projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from initiation to completion. This includes working closely with team members, engaging with customers, presenting findings to collaborators, and managing project billing with partner agencies.
  • Share insights updates with relevant collaborators, ensuring they understand research data and key actionable insights. Store reports/analyses in Insights Exchange as references for other insights practitioners. Mentor junior Insights practitioners within or outside the PH affiliate as needed. For Level 3 Manager CI, lead and mentor direct reports to deliver on various projects and tasks.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum 8 years quantitative consumer research experience, preferably with at least 2 years experience on the client side.
  • Must be knowledgeable and experienced in the design, implementation, project management, and analysis of various quantitative consumer research.
  • At least 5 years experience in collaborator management, from refining research briefs and designing studies to presenting analysis.
  • Experienced in standard statistical models commonly employed in various quantitative research, including trackers and ad hoc analyses.
  • Qualitative research experience is a plus.
