Crafting the Perfect Picture: Shape Compelling Narratives

Social Media:

  • Create engaging content, manage accounts, track performance metrics, and stay informed on the latest social media trends to enhance audience engagement continuously.

EDM Campaigns:

  • Develop and deliver value-driven, informative EDM campaigns that resonate with our database and foster strong client relationships while staying attuned to local market trends.

Marketing Flow Campaigns:

  • Collaborate with sales agents and marketing specialists across the Sotheby’s APEC community to develop creative marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, market share, and drive recruitment efforts.

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media and EDM strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness, building client relationships, and enhancing online visibility.
  • Identify and analyze target audiences to create content that aligns with their preferences and behaviors across various media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and competitor activities to refine social media and EDM strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with agents to create marketing flow campaigns that support their sales efforts.

Content Creation and Brand Awareness:

  • Lead the creation of high-quality, engaging content for various marketing channels, including print, digital, and social (e.g., posts, stories, videos, graphics, EDM, and print material) that reflect the brand's voice and identity.
  • Produce visually appealing content that strengthens brand recognition and loyalty.
  • Write compelling captions, post descriptions, and calls-to-action that reinforce the brand message and encourage engagement.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with broader marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent posting, EDMs, and strategic brand messaging.
  • Stay informed about the local real estate market in Western Australia to ensure content is up-to-date and relevant.
  • Develop, maintain, and oversee all necessary marketing and promotional materials for the sales team, ensuring continuous improvements and updates to preserve relevance and effectiveness.
  • Design and produce property information memorandums and appraisal presentations at the agent’s discretion.
  • Design and produce recruitment collateral at the director’s discretion.

Community Engagement and Brand Building:

  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, responding promptly and professionally to foster a positive brand image.
  • Grow our local social media following and engagement.
  • Engage with followers, influencers, and brand advocates to build a strong and active community around the brand.
  • Handle customer inquiries and feedback through social media, ensuring that all interactions contribute to a positive brand perception.
  • Organize and execute social media campaigns, contests, and giveaways that boost brand awareness and engagement.

Performance Analysis:

  • Oversee all digital marketing efforts, including social media platforms, email campaigns, and SEO.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, brand mentions, and conversions to assess the effectiveness of social media efforts.
  • Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) to generate reports on social media performance and brand growth.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing social media strategies and enhancing brand awareness based on data analysis.
  • Maintain and enhance the website’s content and structure while managing the monitoring of web traffic and user engagement.
  • Report to the director on insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Propose, implement, and manage marketing budgets and expenses with consultation from the director.

Advertising and Promotions:

  • Plan and execute paid social media campaigns focused on increasing brand visibility and promoting properties and services while driving targeted traffic.
  • Monitor ad performance and adjust strategies to maximize return on investment (ROI) while reinforcing brand messaging.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to run promotions that align with brand objectives and resonate with the target audience.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with our sales team to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels and reinforce brand consistency.
  • Communicate social media plans, performance metrics, and insights to internal stakeholders, emphasizing the impact on brand awareness and growth.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas for campaigns and content that enhance brand recognition.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay informed about the latest social media tools, trends, and best practices to keep the brand's social media presence fresh and relevant.
  • Experiment with new content formats, posting schedules, and engagement tactics to continually improve brand awareness and social media performance.
  • Stay up-to-date and informed on the local Western Australia real estate market through REIWA newsletters, CoreLogic, and other media sources.
  • Stay current with Sotheby’s marketing material and marketing training.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance marketing skills and stay ahead in the industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in the real estate industry and an understanding of real estate marketing.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Marketing Specialist or in a similar role, with a strong focus on content creation and brand awareness.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for building brand presence.
  • Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content that strengthens brand identity.
  • Creative and design-savvy professional, capable of devising innovative strategies that deliver measurable results.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Talent for data interpretation and a keen eye for industry trends, with a passion for supporting team growth and delivering innovative, measurable results.
  • Experience in InDesign, graphic design, or video production is a plus.
