Job Summary:


The MEP Sales Engineer is responsible for marketing and selling the company’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services to contractors, developers, and construction companies. The role involves building strong relationships within the industry, joining professional organizations, and networking to promote the company's services. The candidate will manage the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to delivering technical presentations and securing orders, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Candidate must have knowledge of MEP systems.

  • Must be a graduate of an engineering course with an MEP background.

  • Candidate must know how to market and sell MEP company services and effectively engage with contractors and construction companies.

  • Will engage in networking and must join organizations such as engineering groups.

  • Search for new clients who could benefit from our products and services in designated sectors.

  • Identify new business opportunities.

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to clients and prospective clients.

  • Plan and modify products to meet clients’ needs.

  • Collect data for each project, including information about consultants, contractors, competitors, and end-users.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and provide sales support.

  • Prepare feasibility studies for clients, demonstrating how changes can lower costs or increase production.

  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.

  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals and sales contracts.

  • Handle client queries and resolve issues with other departments in the company to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Negotiate and manage conflicts using various approaches.

  • Establish and maintain a client list, continuously expanding both new and existing clients.

  • Create long-term relationships with clients, ensuring that these relationships are based on a win-win situation.

  • Secure and renew orders, arrange deliveries, and follow up on collections with clients.

  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including weekly plans, weekly reports, monthly reports, ongoing project updates, closings, follow-ups, and adherence to goals.

  • Prepare market analysis reports, recommend necessary actions, and submit monthly reports and sales forecasts to direct managers.

  • Meet sales targets.

  • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.

  • Develop and maintain sales materials and stay current with product knowledge.

  • Willing to do fieldwork as part of the role.








Qualifications:



  • Graduate of an engineering course (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related fields) with a strong MEP background.

  • In-depth knowledge of MEP systems and industry practices.

  • Proven experience in sales and marketing of MEP services, especially to contractors and construction companies.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to collect and analyze project data for strategic business decisions.

  • Experience in handling technical and commercial proposals.

  • Strong networking skills, with active participation in engineering or construction organizations.

  • Ability to manage client relationships, handle disputes, and maintain long-term business partnerships.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
