Zigzag is looking for a Mortgage Broker Assistant to join our team! 

Job Purpose

To process Compulsory Third Party Greenslips in a timely and efficient manner, including focusing on client relationships and excellent customer service. To assist our office's National Operations Manager and on occasion,
our Broking staff with a range of administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Compulsory Third Party Management
    • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests. 
    • Provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies to assist customers in making informed decisions.
    • Resolve customer complaints or problems by identifying issues, researching solutions, and escalating when necessary
    • Handle a high volume of calls while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. 
    • Electronic processing of CTP Green Slips 
    • Ensure cash handling and monetary transactions follow processes. 
    • Keep accurate client details 
    • Undertake learning activities as outlined in training plan
  • Compliance 
    • Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with relevant Acts, legal requirements and ethical standards
    • Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with company compliance policies and procedures
    • Maintain a sound level of technical skills required for this role
  • Teamwork 
    • Work effectively with team/work group to accomplish organisational and team goals. 
    • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve customer service practices and enhance overall customer experience 
    • Keep management and others informed appropriately and as required about work status 
    • Manage conflicts constructively

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service or call centre environment preferred. 
  • Previous experience in cash handling preferred. 
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and empathize with customers 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult or challenging customers with professionalism and patience. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and the ability to navigate multiple software applications simultaneously.
