Your Tasks

Main Accountabilities:  The Channel Manager leads customer strategy and portfolio management, key account, and distributor management to achieve sales and distribution objectives.


Roles & Responsibilities


Strategy and business planning of Top Key customers/Channels and Distributors

•    Leads joint business plan with top retailers to identify win-win strategy and align priorities

•    Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations. Effectively communicates strategy, business decisions and directions as determined by Management team  

•    Defines and executes Sales & S&CM strategy and plans to achieve market share, sales, customer contribution and EBIT objectives as agreed in the Annual Business Planning process

•    Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs

•    Closely works with the Marketing Department on new product launch/re-launch plans and promotions, integrating corporate strategy

•    Builds strong relationships with top customers to drive strategic agenda


Sales Efficiency & Effectiveness

•    Data analytics: Conducts sell in and sell out analysis

•    Product assortment Management: Manages must stock list or must carry list per channel execution

•    CSL Management: Spearheads joint forecasting with the accounts

•    Promo Management: Performs pre and post promo analysis


Distributor Management 

•    Prepares sales plans aligned with Distributor to achieve Annual and Monthly Business Targets

•    Ensure efficient account & channel coverage via distributor personnel

•    Efficiently utilizes trade marketing budgets

•    Determine growth drivers that will contribute to the achievement of sales objectives by the distributor


Your Profile

Knowledge, Skills and Experience


•    Bachelor’s degree

•    At least 5 years’ experience in Key Account and Distributor Management in the FMCG industry

•    Strong analytical &strategic thinking skills

•    Ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of people from different parts of the business

•    Ability to conduct research and analyze data

•    Knowledge of product pricing, packaging, distribution and positioning

•    Results-driven attitude

•    Enjoy working in a busy, deadline-driven environment)
