The Core Tasks That Make Up Your Legal Support Journey
- Assist as transaction counsel on equity and debt financing, secured transactions (including DACA’s), and other related matters as needed.
- Review, draft, and negotiate policies and procedures related to product offerings and bank regulations.
- Manage outside counsel review of all documentation and oversee outside counsel with respect to transactions.
- Coordinate and collaborate cross-functionally with teammates, including compliance and operations teams, to address legal/compliance needs as they arise.
- Conduct legal research on commercial lending and develop relevant policies and procedures.
- Manage third-party vendors, conduct risk and due diligence assessments, and assist with reporting.
- Assist in enforcing BSA/AML policies and procedures; conduct name screening checks, assist with KYC onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and transactional monitoring.
- Take initiative to identify and analyze problems, generate alternative solutions, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Participate in employee engagement activities that promote team welfare and a positive atmosphere.
- Communicate suggestions for improvement or enhancements to management, whether internally or at the client level.
- Adapt to flexible working hours and shifts as needed. Shift schedules may vary and rest days may be assigned outside of weekends depending on business needs.
- Be open to performing ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.
