What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven admin or assistant experience
- Proven experience in basic accounting- Invoicing, Payables, Transaction of loans
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Strong numerical skills
- Proficient in MS Office suite and Xero (accounting software)
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Time-management skills
What will you do?
- Assistance in general finance works
- Entering details in invoices
- Answer and direct phone calls.
- Maintain contact lists.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Confidentially handle sensitive information.
- Take accurate minutes of meetings.
- Coordinate office procedures.
- Code and enter all creditor (payables) transaction documents.
- Monitor and close-out completed purchase orders.
- Complete the monthly payment schedule.
- Routine follow up of debtors (cash receipts)
- Managing accounts emails and queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with administration as required.
