Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute PR Strategies
    • Design and implement PR campaigns that align with company objectives and enhance brand visibility.
    • Identify key messages and target audiences, ensuring all communications reinforce our brand identity.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to inform PR strategies and monitor industry trends.
       
  • Media Relations
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, journalists, and influencers to secure quality coverage.
    • Proactively pitch story ideas, press releases, and exclusive content to relevant media outlets.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, managing both proactive and reactive communications.
       
  • Content Creation and Copywriting
    • Draft and edit press releases, media kits, blog posts, social media posts, speeches, and other PR materials.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to generate compelling content that supports company initiatives and product launches.
    • Ensure all communications are aligned with brand voice, tone, and quality standards.
       
  • Media Monitoring and Reporting
    • Track media coverage, monitor public sentiment, and analyze campaign effectiveness to provide actionable insights.
    • Compile press clippings, maintain media logs, and prepare regular reports on PR activities, media placements, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and media feedback to refine and optimize PR strategies.
       
  • Event Coordination and Execution
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute PR events, such as product launches, press conferences, and networking functions.
    • Manage media event logistics, including venue coordination, media invites, and on-site setup.
    • Work with external vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution and maximize media presence.
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes creativity and innovation.
    • Identify and address training and development needs within the team.
    • Ensure the team remains motivated and engaged, investing in building agency morale and capacities.
       
  • Stakeholder and Client Relations
    • Collaborate closely with executives, and Skyrocket teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
    • Support executive leadership with talking points, media training, and preparation for public appearances and interviews.
    • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and community organizations.
       
  • Administrative and Team Support
    • Maintain media lists, contact databases, and track press opportunities.
    • Handle administrative tasks associated with PR projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
    • Assist with hiring, training, and managing PR staff as the department grows, providing mentorship and guidance.
       
  • Pitches and Presentations:
    • Participate in pitch presentations and brainstorming sessions, providing support to the Head of Public Relations and share insights related to PR.
    • Assist in preparing presentation materials and communicating ideas effectively to internal teams and clients.
       
  • Industry Knowledge
    • Be knowledgeable on market developments and opportunities around the advertising, digital, creative, technology, marketing, and consulting industries.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to public relations.
    • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in operational processes and tools.
    • Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices for continuous improvement.


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a PR role, with both strategic and hands-on experience in campaign management.
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent media relations skills with established contacts in relevant industries.
  • Experience in handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in PR software, media monitoring tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Strong strategic thinking and creativity in problem-solving.
  • Willing to work in a hybrid setup. Candidates from Metro Manila are strongly preferred.
