PILMICO ANIMAL NUTRITION CORPORATION, is a subsidiary of Pilmico Foods Corporation wholly owned by Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. We provide customers with high quality feeds for aqua, hogs, poultry as well as customized solutions for large farm accounts. Since we started in 1998, we have grown and diversified to include swine and layer operations in Tarlac. Our swine and layer farms employ advanced production systems, with automated feeding and drinking systems. Climate control is achieved in the barns through tunnel ventilation and evaporative cooling system. Our swine genetic program and pullet source selection on the other hand, ensures that we only produce quality market hogs and layers. Strict biosecurity measures are also in place to protect the animals from bacterial and viral disease exposure. As a total solutions provider, we aim to become a one-stop shop that offers quality feeds, technical support, and a growing range of fresh & quality meats & eggs products. We do this through our four-pillar Diamond Program which consists of: 1) good breeding & genetics, 2) complete healthcare 3) sound management and 4) excellent nutrition & feeding.
Production Operation
1. Coordinates with Lead Butchers in the number of entrails, head and blood
2. Ensures that all entrails and blood order are complete
3. Ensure that all residue in the Clean kill and white & red offals area is properly disposed of.
4. Ensure that gmp and food safety protocols are followed
5. Perform standard operating procedures in the process.
6. Monitoring and recording of pork head weight
7. Ensuring that all white & red offals and blood orders are complete
8. Ensuring that all carcasses are with NMIS stamp
9. Follow the task given by immediate supervisor
10. Provide assistance to the team in disposing residue ( Blood, hair and hooves. etc.)
11. To replace / relieve the production staff or lead butcher while he /she is on day off.
12. Turn over of blood and entrails to the dispatch team
13. Receiving of live hogs
14. Measuring backfat thickness
15. Prepared reports after operation
Quality Standards and Safety Management
1. Comply with all food safety, quality and sanitation standards.
2. Make sure work stations are always clean and organized.
Other Duties
3. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
At least high school graduate or equivalent
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least one (6 Months ) in related experience
CRITICAL SKILLS OR COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Working knowledge in Piggery farm/ Meats operations
Detail-oriented with good organizing and coordination skills
Can prepare reports on time
