Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchaser to manage the procurement of goods and services essential to our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely, cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high-quality standards. You will work closely with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and track orders to ensure on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify reliable suppliers for goods and services.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to ensure favorable purchasing agreements.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders to replenish stock as needed.
  • Track the status of orders and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Review the quality of purchased products and coordinate returns or exchanges when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, suppliers, and pricing information.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand and meet their purchasing needs.
  • Stay updated on market trends, new products, and potential suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in the procurement process.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Purchaser or in a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of market research and supplier sourcing techniques.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and logistics.
