Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Registered Nurse Medical Virtual Assistant to join our team. This position involves providing essential administrative support to our healthcare operations, particularly in managing patient communications and ensuring smooth information flow within our medical practice. We are looking for candidates who are fluent in English, with excellent communication skills, and are willing to work during US MDT hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound and outbound patient calls, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Perform administrative duties including calendar and email management, data entry, and document preparation.
- Conduct research to support medical staff and enhance patient care.
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical records according to healthcare regulations.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-up care for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and task completion.
- Support management of medical records and other essential documentation.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid RN license.
- Experience handling administrative duties such as calendar management, email management, data entry, document preparation, and research.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills (neutral American accent preferred).
- Proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills, ensuring timely responses to patients and staff.
Technical Requirements:
- Internet: High-speed internet (minimum upload/download speeds of 25 Mbps) to ensure stable communication and video calls.
- Computer Specifications: Laptop or desktop with at least an Intel i3 processor or equivalent, 8GB RAM, SSD or high-capacity storage, and an updated operating system (Windows 10 or macOS 10.15 or higher).
- Video Conferencing: Functional webcam and microphone for clear video calls and meetings.
- Communication Tools: Familiarity with Zoom, Google Meet, or JustCall for virtual meetings and patient communication.
- Headset: Noise-canceling headphones with a microphone for clear, effective communication.
- Software Tools: Experience with collaboration tools such as Slack, Asana, Hubstaff, Freshworks, Adobe, and Docusign.
- Workspace: Quiet, secure, and private workspace suitable for confidential communications.
- Backup Power: Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) or alternate power source for potential power outages.
- Licenses and Identification: Active RN license, HIPAA certification, and government-issued ID for verification purposes.
