- Summary
The Sales Agent – Distribution is responsible for promoting and selling company products to assigned accounts and territories. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding distribution coverage, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring timely collection of payments from distributors, wholesalers, or retail outlets.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular field visits to distributors, wholesalers, and retail outlets.
- Promote company products and implement sales and marketing programs.
- Ensure proper product distribution, availability, and visibility in all assigned accounts.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with distributors.
- Identify and develop new accounts to expand market coverage.
- Negotiate pricing, promotions, and display agreements within company guidelines.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Monitor competitors’ activities and market trends.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Address customer concerns and provide after-sales support.
- Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in distribution, FMCG, or wholesale operations.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a field-based environment.
- Goal-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).
