As a Senior AR & Collections Specialist, you will ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounts receivable records, regularly review and update customer information, payment terms, and related details in the system, and conduct a thorough review of outstanding accounts receivable to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.

Crafting Your Role

• AR Record Management: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounts receivable records.
  
• Regularly review and update customer information, payment terms, and related details in the system.
  
• AR Cleanup: Conduct thorough reviews of outstanding accounts receivable to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing errors, reconcile customer accounts, and ensure data accuracy.
  
• Collections Activities: Engage in the collections process by following up on overdue payments and communicating with customers to resolve outstanding issues.
  
• Assist in implementing effective strategies to improve collection efficiency.
  
• Ad-hoc Tasks: Handle ad-hoc tasks related to accounts receivable and collections, including researching and resolving issues.
  
• Support special projects within the team as required.
  
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on AR performance and aging.
  
• Analyze data to identify trends, provide insights, and contribute to process improvement.
  
• Customer Communication: Communicate with customers to address billing inquiries and facilitate prompt payments.
  
• Maintain positive relationships with customers to enhance the overall collections process.
  

Requirements

The Perfect Ingredients

• Experience in US Accounting Setup: Familiarity with US accounting principles and practices, as well as experience working with US-based clients.
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections.
  
• Proven track record of handling AR cleanup, maintaining accurate records, and actively participating in collections.
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Proficiency in QBO and Sage Intacct is preferred.
