Senior Java Backend Developer/Tech Lead (Digital Assets)

Our team is responsible for the implementation of the Avaloq Crypto Assets Platform.

You will be surrounded by smart, highly capable people who are passionate to build the next generation of innovative applications to address the upcoming challenges of the Crypto and Blockchain industry.

We are looking for passionate Senior Backend Developer / Tech Lead to join our team and bring these innovative designs live.

Your key tasks 

• Work as part of an agile development team in line with the product roadmap
• Design and implement Back-End Services
• Improve code quality via Unit and Integration tests
• Follow and promote best coding practices within the team
• Perform code reviews and coach junior team members
• Take ownership and responsibility for his area of expertise
• Guide, coach and train the team to excel
• Establishing coding and design patterns within the team
• Align and exchange with architects to understand architectural strategy, policies and pattern

• At least 6 years of experiences with back-end competences: Java 8+, Spring Boot, RESTful API building
• Knowledge/ Experiences in Openshift/Kubernetes
• Knowledge/ Experiences in GraphQL
• Knowledge/ Experiences in Liquibase, Spring JPA, Spring Security
• Knowledge and experience with public cloud
• Basic knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• Experience in talent development, coaching and honing of technical skills.

It would be a real bonus if you have 

• Workflow management tool Flowable
• Able to work as a full-stack developer (Java script and Angular)
• Bring blockchain and banking domain knowledge
• Experience with DevOps topics (e.g. release preparation)
