The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple social media accounts effectively. In addition to social media management, this role will also involve general administrative tasks to support the team.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Content Creation:
- Develop, create, and manage high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Design graphics, write captions, and curate relevant content to maintain a consistent brand voice and style.
Platform Management: - Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools.
- Manage the social media calendar and ensure timely execution of posts.
Community Engagement: - Foster and engage with the online community by responding to comments and messages, and initiating conversations.
- Monitor trends and engage with relevant content to increase brand visibility and engagement.
Analytics and Reporting: - Track and analyze social media performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or similar platforms.
- Prepare regular reports on key metrics, content performance, and social media trends.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
Brand Consistency: - Ensure all social media content is consistent with the brandβs voice, style, and guidelines.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- General Administrative Support:
- Manage email correspondence and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.
- Maintain and update contact lists and databases.
Document Management: - Prepare and format documents, reports, and presentations.
- Organize and maintain digital files and records.
Project Coordination: - Assist in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with team members and external partners to ensure smooth project workflow.
Research and Data Entry: - Conduct research on various topics as required.
- Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records.
Customer Support: - Provide support to customers via email, chat, or phone.
- Address customer queries and issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements - Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Social Media Specialist, or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other social media best practices.
- Proficient in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Strong visual and creative skills, with experience in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics is a plus.
- Previous administrative experience is a plus.
