Position is responsible for working with hiring manager to document requirements of job openings as required opening requisition(s); partnering with other departments to determine appropriate sourcing activities, as well as identify department specific requirements; utilizing various job boards, networking sites, referrals, etc., to identify high-quality talent whose skills, qualifications, and personality best fit the needs of the department; generating and maintaining a network of people and processes to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates; and documenting the candidate evaluation and interview process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Typically managing number of recruiters and sourcers.
- Coaching, counseling, providing feedback, handling disciplinary issues and providing positive recognition.
- Ensuring each employee meets his or her required goals including intraday schedule adherence, attendance, metrics, policy/handbook adherence, conduct and performance.
- Writing employee performance evaluations, delivering annual merit reviews, updating employee journals daily and performing other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Ensuring that the sourcing specialists and recruiters are fully utilized and hiring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Utilizing applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software to measure, track, and report the status and success of sourcing initiatives to include search progress, candidate pipeline, diversity, and sourcing channel effectiveness.
- Exploring staffing best practices in the market and implementing appropriate best practices in the organization.
