Role: Family Empowerment Associate
Work set up: Independent Contractor
Work schedule: Full Time | 40 hours per week | Eastern / Mountain Time
Salary: up to 1,600 USD per month (Depending on your skills and years of experience)

About the role
As a Family Empowerment Associate, you will play a vital role in helping families build strong and resilient relationships through various entertainment programs and initiatives.

In this position, you will provide support and guidance to families, empowering them to overcome challenges and navigate through difficult times. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement innovative programs that promote family well-being and create memorable experiences for families.

Responsibilities

  • Family empowerment through case support. You’ll be in charge of managing our family training pipeline. Your role will revolve around communicating with families and providing empathetic support as they obtain clinical training.
  • Guidance and Encouragement. The US healthcare system can be a tough maze to navigate. You’ll act as their shepherd, guiding them through tough turns. You’ll be their cheerleader, celebrating every high and picking them up in moments of lows.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration. You’ll communicate and coordinate with technology, clinical, and product teams to further not just your families, but the internal teams as well.
  • Community Building. You will play an integral role in building out the community of families by helping coordinate and organize events that empower families in the same boat to rely on each other in tough times.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field
  • Proven experience in family counseling, support services, or a relevant role
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of database systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect and engage with diverse families
  • Knowledge of child development, parenting techniques, and family dynamics
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
