SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER

ROLE OVERVIEW 

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to be part of our team. 

• This role performs senior level network functions and mentors and provides technical guidance to other IT staff. 
  
• This position is involved in the architecture, planning, development, implementation, maintenance, support, and securing of all network infrastructure technologies. Recommends new technologies and infrastructure upgrades to meet organization needs. Assists management with complex projects and assumes ongoing support of system infrastructure.
  
• This role is accountable for ensuring uptime and availability of company’s network and security infrastructure.
  

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Work directly with customers to troubleshoot and resolve the most complex network and server infrastructure issues.
  
• Designs, implements, and maintains all voice, video, and data network infrastructure technologies.
  
• Designs methodology and utilizes software and hardware tools to identify, diagnose, and correct problems affecting system performance.  
  
• Interacts with vendors and other company's sites to coordinate the installation, configuration, and use of multi-site systems.   
  
• Interacts with end-users, vendors, staff, and management at all sites to coordinate the installation, configuration, and use of multi-site systems.  
  
• Implements and maintains systems supported by IT.  Monitors the implementation to assure proper operation and adherence to standards.
  
• Works with the Director of IT Engineering to specify network system topology and design architecture, including standards and documentation development and enforcement.
  
• Maintains logs and device inventories, as well as appropriate documentation including but not limited to application notes, drawings, and configuration information.
  
• Actively participates in meetings concerning the evaluation and recommendation of network infrastructure budgets, designs, and components.
  
• Ensures the highest level of security for data at rest, data in motion, and data being processed in compliance with state and federal regulations, healthcare industry standards, IT industry standards, and companys policies concerning security and data integrity.
  
• Participates in the analysis, collection and maintenance of records as needed by Quality Assurance/Compliance personnel, JCAHO accreditation, OSHA guidelines or as may be required by law.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related technical discipline is preferred.  
  
• At least 5 – 7 years related experience and/or training is preferred.  
  
• Experience in network technologies such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, routing protocols, switching, Wi-Fi (wireless), and name resolution protocols preferred.   
  
• Video conference engineering technical design and implementation experience / training preferred.   
  
• CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) is preferred.  
  
• PCNSA (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator) is preferred. 
  
• At least 5 – 7 years architecting and implementing network connectivity between 3rd party entities utilizing various WAN technologies such as MPLS, L2, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, OTV).   
  
• Provide 24/7 tier 2 support to on-call network engineers to resolve escalated network issues.  
  
• Knowledgeable in Document network designs, configurations, and creating technical presentations.  
  
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network designs, configurations, and technical presentations.  
  
• Excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written.  
  
• Excellent ability to troubleshoot technical solutions on the fly in tense situations. 
  
• Willing to work on a night shift schedule and working on a hybrid setup
  
• Willing to work at Tower 1, Rockwell Business Center, Ortigas
