Job Description :
The purpose of this position is to be responsible for the real-time tracking and follow-up of all transport vehicles, including trucks, trailers, containers, and military vehicles.
The definition of success for this role is that 100% of all assigned vehicles arrive complete and on time, in accordance with the approved schedule.
This position holds full accountability for the success or failure of vehicle arrivals and adherence to scheduled timing.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively track and follow up on all assigned vehicles from departure until final destination.
- Maintain continuous communication with drivers via phone calls, messaging applications, or other available communication channels.
- Ensure drivers clearly understand the pickup point, destination, assigned route, and required arrival time.
- Monitor departure times and immediately follow up on vehicles that are late or not moving.
- Respond immediately to incidents such as vehicle breakdowns, delays, or driver unresponsiveness.
- Escalate issues promptly to the Operations Manager when delays may affect mission timelines.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to locate vehicles or arrange replacement trucks when required.
- Enforce accountability with subcontractors and drivers regarding delays or non-compliance.
- Maintain real-time vehicle status records, including location, timing, and issues encountered.
- Prepare Daily Transport Status Reports and support audit documentation when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2 years experience in logistics, transport coordination, dispatch operations, fleet control, or similar roles.
- Experience in military logistics, port operations, or time-critical transport is considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
- Proficiency in Filipino is required for effective communication with drivers.
- Basic computer skills, including the use of Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to perform phone-based reporting and continuous follow-up.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends, based on military operational requirements.
