Job Description

Responsible for all test activities throughout testing life-cycle of Avaloq solutions for key customer accounts.

Your key tasks:

  • Define Test Policy and Test Plan
  • Provide testing effort estimations
  • Monitor and control testing activities against planned budget and quality gates
  • Manage defects and reporting
  • Design, update and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring their reusability
  • Manage test environments (baseline definition and maintenance, assessment on environment readiness)
  • Manage tools for testing, tracking defects, statistics and requirements coverage reporting
  • Document and evaluate the result of the testing, investigate testing deficiencies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Test Management processes and procedures

Qualifications

Β 

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills and ability to manage stress levels in demanding project contexts.
  • In-depth knowledge of Test concepts and methodology
  • Experience and strong knowledge of the banking and/or finance industry or other regulatory environments
  • Working knowledge of OpenText QC/ALM, JIRA, MS Office Suite
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving competences
  • Structured and rigorous approach
  • Team player and strong client-orientation
  • Ability and flexibility to work in a highly challenging environment

It would be a real bonus if you have

  • ISTQB Certification or equivalent
  • Experience with Avaloq banking system solution
