Your Playbook: Key Responsibilities for a Winning Performance

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and consistent feedback.
  • Hold weekly one-on-one sessions to review performance with direct reports.
  • Write and deliver annual performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Use leadership principles to positively influence the team to achieve goals.
  • Onboard and train new team members, and provide refresher training as needed to current team members.
  • Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements for service provider oversight applicable to financial institutions, including due diligence documentation and ongoing monitoring to meet compliance requirements.
  • Partner with and support Vendor Services Managers and Risk Analysts to define and meet client expectations regarding vendor due diligence documentation, priorities, and deadlines. Understand the types of executive summaries composed by Risk Analysts, relevant documentation for summary production, and the role of Vendor Services Managers.
  • Effectively balance the "player-coach" role by managing tactical, supervisory tasks while spending approximately 70% of your time contributing to overall production capacity.
  • Responsibilities may include:
  • Building, coordinating, and managing relationships with companies that supply critical products and services to Ncontracts clients.
  • Managing and maintaining functions related to the collection, documentation, tracking, and delivery of due diligence information.
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with departmental and company goals and objectives.
  • Communicating and collaborating with vendors via telephone and email to meet service level agreements for contracted services.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of vendor management regulatory compliance requirements applicable to financial institutions, including the documentation needed based on the criticality of individual vendors.
  • Working knowledge of software and applications used in the documentation and delivery of vendor due diligence services.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain organized, detailed documentation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to develop, draft, edit, and update strategies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate with and maintain working relationships with team members and other team leadership within the department.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and effectively leverage resources and personnel.
  • Ability to set and achieve goals and objectives.
  • Ability to continually identify and implement service enhancements.
  • Ability to problem-solve and escalate unresolved issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area.
  • At least three years of related work experience.
  • Administrative and/or customer service experience.
  • Previous experience using Salesforce.com or other similar CRM software.
