Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, flexible, and highly responsive individual to join our web team as an eComm Assistant. This individual will work closely with our Web Team Lead, the Sr. eCommerce & CRM Manager, and other cross-functional resources to support across daily web tasks, digital product management and optimization, product launches, and more.
This position will require candidates to work US based hours with flexibility to work EST or PST aligned hours.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Support the Web Lead in regular site QA and testing.
- Join weekly web meetings to support across documentation and project planning.
- Support in general research & analysis tasks as we consider new web builds and tests.
- Support in web project management including but not limited to communicating status updates, assigning and managing tickets within our project management platform, and following up with team members as necessary.
- Upload new products, build bundles, build collections, and coordinate with the brand team on designed web assets to support product launches.
- Complete promo setup on site, including, but not limited to, building out discount codes, promo collections, uploading applicable assets, and QA.
- Optimize core collections weekly based on recent performance and other specified needs.
- Support on-going maintenance & updates to the website in coordination with the web developers - including reporting on bugs, site performance metrics, and essential web apps performance utilizing core reporting channels and work with the web development team to translate insights into optimizations on on-going basis.
- Coordinate with the CX team on QA process for site & ensure that bugs, requests, etc are translated into actionable tickets within our project management platform. Support the web development team & other eCom-centric apps in setting up and reporting on A/B testing new offers, functionalities, features, etc. as needed.
- Aid in SEO & keyword research and optimizations as needed.
- Assist with other job duties as assigned
Requirements - 2-3 years of similar experience on another Shopify Plus website.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in Asana, ClickUp, or similar platforms.
- Comfort with all elements of the Shopify Plus Admin console, including, but not limited to, Theme Editor, collections, and product setup and duplication.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience working with developers and marketing teams.
- Strong attention to detail.
Nice to have experience:
- Comfort with other elements of Shopify, including, but not limited to, tags, metafields, and third-party apps such as Rebuy.
