Responsibilities:

  • Handles the review and ensure tax compliance of the vendor’s invoices
  • Process accounts payable and ensure applicable tax are applied
  • Post accounts payable entries
  • Ensure accounts payable are paid on time or based on scheduled payment
  • Responsible for ensuring an effective filing system  
  • Responsible for tax filing and payment
  • Implements and ensure Accounts Payable and Finance Department process and procedure are implemented and followed
  • Ensure that challenges and issues are escalated to the direct leader and/or head of the department
  • Ad-hoc tasks as might be asked to do by direct leader and/or head of the department

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting-related courses
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Accounts Payable
  • Willing to report daily in Pateros office
  • Experience in basic tax filing is required
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with AP systems is an advantage 
  • Excellent stakeholder management, organizational, time management and communication skills
