Job Overview:


We are seeking an individual to perform administrative duties and support our business operations. As a virtual assistant, you will be responsible for the administration of day-to-day tasks. You will also be expected to complete online research, organize emails, and attend regular short meetings. You will regularly work alongside a team online, so a solid internet connection, quiet working space, and access to a camera for video calls are imperative.


Responsibilities:


Below are some of the responsibilities a virtual assistant is expected to assume in their position:




  • Manage and maintain calendars

  • Handle online administrative tasks

  • Manage regular bookkeeping tasks

  • Research and organize data

  • Maintain and manage contacts through a contacts database

  • Create presentations and documents, e.g., using Canva

  • Gather and organize data for statistical analysis

  • Participate in video calls as a body double

  • Rewrite audio or written transcripts in English








Requirements

Below are the qualifications expected of a virtual assistant:




  • Ability to manage a calendar and schedule appointments

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as the Google Suite such as Google Docs and Google Sheets

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Proficiency with cloud-based platforms such as Google Sheets, Skype, and other remote team messaging apps

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask

  • High-speed internet connection with a camera
