Maintaining the working consolidated financial model for First Gen and its subsidiaries, running sensitivity analyses, monitoring the financial health of the company, and engineering recommendations to management
Managing the modeling groups for each existing and growth subsidiary of First Gen, harmonizing the assumptions, reviewing their numbers, and reviewing their output
Creating presentation materials and other reports that may be required by the Board of Directors, senior management, shareholders and other stakeholders
Helping to manage loan administration and treasury functions of the company
Preparing the Managementβs Discussion and Analysis report
Monitoring competitors, economic trends, industry news and updates from the PSE and other PSE-listed companies
Creating presentations for the Investor Relations Program, and meeting with investors to discuss the Company
Participating in and contributing to various financing, merger and acquisition deals
Performing other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Minimum requirements / qualifications:
Comfortable in dealing with numbers
Ability to create complex financial models
Good analytical skills
Skillful in writing reports and making presentations.
Must be able to defend output and results of computations to management.
Must have an understanding of corporate finance, financial statements, accounting, basic economics and financial markets.
Basic knowledge on the power industry is preferable, as well as on equity investments, derivatives and hedging. Ability to review documents is likewise preferred.
Able to present during meetings.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and adept in other Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint)
At least 3-4 years experience.
