About the Role:


Reporting to the Finance Manager based in Australia, this role will be part of a global team supporting our Australian and New Zealand Finance teams. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an early professional to work in a global role and get exposure across a variety of administrative tasks in the Finance team.


With a positive attitude towards work and high attention to details, you will be willing to go the extra mile to meet month and year end deadlines, looking for opportunities for process improvement. You will have the ability to identify issues, make recommendations and communicate with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation. You will be supported and mentored by senior team members and have a keen desire to ensure all deadlines are met.


Key Responsibilities:



  • General Accounts Receivables tasks

  • Process monthly billing to customers across the Planit Group

  • Process Supplier Invoices across the Planit Group

  • Process Employee expense claims across the Planit Group

  • Prepare bank payment runs for management approval for Australia, NZ and UK

  • Participate in month end process to ensure accruals and information is delivered on time

  • General ledger reconciliations

  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally.

  • Other tasks as required


Essential Skills and Experience:



  • 3 years' experience in Accounts Receivable

  • Degree qualified with previous relevant experience, preferably in a global organization.

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite products with competency in Excel

  • Continuously looks for opportunity to simplify and improve work systems and processes to achieve high efficiency

  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to ensure timely and efficient execution of all responsibilities

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and an ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
