Job Overview

The role is for an Assistant Finance Manager who will help manage the deliverables of the Manila Finance team and has the right attitude to match the Finance/Accounting skills.

To be successful in this role, the applicant should have an outstanding analytical skill with the ability to connect the dots and visualize the whole picture. To pull this off, the applicant should have an investigative nature and is detailed oriented.

In addition, the applicant should also have an excellent communication skill as this role will require regular interaction with senior leaders overseas. Must be comfortable working in a start-up environment and very hands-on.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform Payroll Account Reconciliation
  • Responsible for the Forecast Process.
  • Provide Management Reporting
  • Able to provide support for Corporate Accounting work if needed
  • Ad hoc task as may be assigned

Qualifications:

  • BS Accountancy graduate
  • Minimum of 10 years experience with at least 5 years as an Assistant Finance Manager or Manager.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in payroll is a must
  • Familiarity with payroll related tax is a must
  • Local Corporate Accounting/Finance experience is a must.
  • With Analyst experience, preferred but not required
  • With BPO/Shared Service experience, preferred but not required
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software
  • Ideal personality traits: Can do attitude, collaborative, with sense of urgency, with good intentions and with mature disposition.

Contract Duration: 6 months (with a chance of absorption based on performance)

Shift Schedule: 2pm mnl to 11pm mnl (but candidate should be flexible & also amendable to OT)
