The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in maintaining the smooth operation of daily business activities. Responsibilities include creating weekly schedules, ordering inventory, and aiding the General Manager with training, recruiting, promotions, and planning.


We seek a qualified Assistant General Manager to assist the General Manager in overseeing everyday operations. The ideal candidate should have prior supervisory experience and be adept at providing performance feedback, establishing goals, encouraging teamwork, and effectively communicating business objectives.


  • The AGM must also be capable of handling responsibilities independently in the General Manager's absence.
  • Collaborating with the General Manager to assist with various tasks, including project planning and staff management, while overseeing and coordinating activities across different departments within the organization.
  • Fostering positive working relationships with employees.
  • Assigning daily tasks to team members.
  • Resolving issues promptly as they arise.
  • Supervising staff and managing inventory.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Setting a positive example for the team.

  • Monitoring employee performance and offering guidance and support as necessary.
  • Assisting in the recruitment, selection, training, and development of staff members.
  • Contributing to budgeting, financial planning, and cost control efforts to ensure profitability.
  • Holding regular meetings to communicate goals, objectives, and policies to staff.
  • Aiding in the implementation and enforcement of health and safety regulations to ensure a safe workplace.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:


  • A degree in IT or relevant courses; if holding a degree in another field, experience in the IT industry is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in a management or leadership position, ideally within a similar industry.
  • Familiarity with best practices and trends in the IT industry.
  • Proficient in sales, marketing, operations, administration, purchasing, and customer service.
  • Strong observational skills.
  • Capability to provide constructive criticism.
  • Computer literate with basic math skills.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and offer coaching as needed.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating and inspiring a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, employees, and external stakeholders.
