POSITION SUMMARY:
The main responsibility of the Assistant Manager, Resorts Marketing & Branding-Photographer & Videographer is to provide high quality creative, technical and documentary photography & video services to the City of Dreams Manila Resorts Marketing Department and other business units.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Form strong relationships and collaborate with internal clients, external clients and partners to identify video and photo needs; provide strategic and creative recommendations that maximize all content capture opportunities (i.e., photo and video combined shoots, b-roll footage, etc.)
2. Establish and ensure the application of industry best practices across all video and photo production activities, including: pre-planning (i.e., creative brief, script, storyboarding, budget, timeline, etc.), content capture (i.e., scouting locations, securing required permits, releases, etc.), post-production work and on time delivery.
3. Monitor and stay current on video and photo trends, editing techniques and styles, as well as content platforms, to ensure that United Way Worldwide is consistently delivering memorable, “newsworthy” and relevant content.
4. Manage all digital and physical media assets (video and photo) including organization, tagging, distributing, archiving and storage (including all applicable sites.)
5. Properly secure and maintain all production equipment.
6. Support all BUs with video and photo requirements, on an as-needed basis.
7. Adhere to all departmental and companywide policies and procedures, including the implementation of initiatives and practices to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
8. Execute other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
I. Experience
1. Professional experience operating digital capture hardware/software
2. Demonstrated excellence in digital image editing and enhancement skills, including but not limited to: outlining and masking, retouching and color correction
3. A strong photography portfolio that demonstrates sufficient knowledge and techniques of digital photography and lighting along with high technical proficiency in Photoshop, Canon cameras and Mac computers
4. Previous photography experience in Hospitality, Entertainment or Advertising Agency will be an advantage
5. Knowledge of different video formats and video file conversions, and the ability to convert video files in multiple formats.
6. Expert in video color correction, photo retouching, and sound mixing.
7. Ability to tell a captivating story in a variety of formats, from short teasers to long form videos.
8. Exceptional project management skills with a proven track record of delivering on time, within budget, and with a high level of quality; strong attention to detail and follow-through in all aspects of video and photo production including, but not limited to: pre-planning (i.e. budget, timelines, equipment), scriptwriting, storyboarding, talent needs, capture plan (locations, permits, etc.), post-production work and frequent communication with internal and external clients.
9. Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision, but with a keen sense to know when to escalate an issue.
II. Education
1. Bachelor’s degree in Photography or Film and 3-5 years professional experience as
an in-house or independent professional, specializing in still life product and lifestyle product photography and video for high-end product print and digital applications.
2. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted in lieu of Bachelor’s degree
III. Skills / Competencies
1. Comprehensive knowledge, fluency and demonstrated professional experience in the following but not limited to Photoshop, Lightroom
2. Significant experience/expertise in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and/or other professional editing software.
3. Demonstrated ability to film broadcast quality video and audio: HD 1920x1080 or better.
4. Assertive and constructive in directing talents or working with stakeholders
5. Video-editing skills will be an advantage.
6. Ability to work well with others
7. Strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
8. Ability to travel and work evening and weekends when necessary
9. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and manage frequent interruptions
10. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
11. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn new technology
12. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
