Assistant (Project-based)

What you will be doing

The Assistant will facilitate the 201 filing system and the issuance of seafarers’ supplies and employees’ office supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures sufficient and systematic inventory of Seafarers uniform supplies and issue the same prior embarkation.


• Ensures sufficient and systematic inventory of Manning Department’s office supplies and issuance to employees. Acts as custodian for the Department’s Office supplies.


• Prepares Bassnet’s P.O. processing for Suppliers such as Instone Bookings, working gears, medical billings & office supplies or other department needs.


• Handles/facilitates the processing of Seafarers termination pay (shipwreck/ship’s sale/lay-up of vessel/discontinuation of voyage or change of vessel principals).


• Serves as back-up to Documentation Processor .


• Performs all other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree holder.


• Preferably 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Fresh graduates may also apply.


• Computer and internet literate.
